Item for sale is a mid-century Seth Thomas Mayflower-3 ship's bells clock. Clock is working and keeping good time. Ship's bells are ringing according to schedule. Very nice condition overall. Brass has some scratches and wear to the finish from polishing. Clock face shows signs of wear from winding. Marked on back Mayflower-3 in two places. Number etched on back may be serial number of previous owner. Also has a sticker marked with maintenance dates from the 1970s. Comes with key. Please see pictures for complete details. Dimensions: 8.5" H x 10.25" W x 3.5" D Weight: 8 lbs. 5 oz. Note: Ship's Bells are from the nautical habit of dividing the day into a schedule of four hour watches. One bell strikes at the beginning of a watch and a bell is added each half hour for a total of 8 bells.
