Mauthe Westminster grandfather clock Made in Germany Name of the clock is 'La Princesa' or Princess in Spanish This clock has been in my family for two generations. It was probably purchased around 1950, and the year of manufacture is probably a few years earlier Very high quality piece I included pictures of the intricate back clockwork which is very interesting It is currently not running, but I’m sure it’s not broken. I do not know much about clocks but everything looks to be in good shape and I suspect it should be an easy fix for anyone who knows I’d say there's one major flaw, if you open the clock there's a hole going through the bottom, shown in the last picture although it's a bit hard to tell what you're looking at so I wanted to explain. You can’t see it at all though, unless you open it and shine a light. Other than that, just normal signs of wear and age, we've kept it in good shape. I'm sure a few touches and it can be restored to pristine condition. Overall its in good condition, to my knowledge it works but currently not running I was quoted a price range of $2500-3200 for this clock on a website called JustAnswer where I spoke to someone who knows about antiques and collectibles. Originally I had this listed for $1750 but once I found the true value, I had to update. She did mention I would get less for it if I sold on Pricetronic, so feel free to shoot me offers! Let me know if you have questions! Thanks! **I don't know the weight so ignore the weight specification in the listing, I just input a random number since I couldn't list unless there was a figure there
