A late 19th century French antique elephant mantle clock. Patinated elephant. Missing part of arrow in cupid's hand. Back glass on door missing. The dial is signed Festeau Le Jne. A Paris. Common practice in the late-19th century to copy earlier designs and sign the dials with earlier makers. 8-day movement that strikes on a bell. Pendulum and bell included. Stamped on backplate AC and 1986. About 12.5 in. tall. Overall decent condition. Seems to run fine, but we have not serviced so make no guarantees.
