This Howard Miller Barwick triple chime pillar and scroll mantle shelf clock with key is a beautiful piece with a vintage feel. The clock has a rich brown color and a cherry finish that adds to its elegance and charm. In great condition with hardly a scratch besides a spot on the back board of the clock which is shown in pictures. The mechanical movement runs and keeps time and has an analog display . The clock features a chime sequence of Westminster, Whittington, and Winchester and has a silent chime lever . Please Note: the lever is stuck in the silent position , the lever does lift up but falls back to the silent position. However the chime still works occasionally if the lever manages to stay up in the chime position. You can hear the mechanism click when it goes over the quarter hours as a clock does when set to silent. The chime function does work the lever is most likely loose. The chime will also go off if you manually touch the chime mechanism on the movement that controls the chime and will chime in all three types of chimes beautifully . It is an original piece and was made in Germany. The clock is an 8-day clock . It is a perfect addition to any room and provides a timeless touch of class.
