Make that large clock with this high torque quartz motor (silent sweep) extended shaft for extra clearance when running long balanced hands and 8-1/4" (#4) metal balanced hands and wall mount with built-in hanger for direct wall mount for your clock for that finished look. Threaded shaft is 1/4" x 5/16" dia., requires one "AA" battery (not incl.) and all mounting hardware. See my other auctions or email me for other styles & lengths.
This is a continuous motion high torque movement, no stepping/advancing of gears, super quiet. Those of you with keen hearing will greatly appreciate it's quietness.
NOTE: minute hand is measured from center of mounting hole to end tip of hand. Minute hand length: 8-1/4" from center of mounting hole to end tip. Total minute hand length 10-1/4" end to end. Hour hand length is 6-1/4" center of mounting hole to end tip, total 7-1/2" end to end. Motor size: 2-1/8" sq x 5/8" with 1/4" threaded shaft, total length 5/8" including hand stem. 2pc wall mounting hub is 3-3/8" (85mm) x 1" deep. Made of high impact plastic and may be painted any color, use a primer then color coat. I also have 7/16" and 9/16" threaded shafts, optional, in place of the furnished 1/4" shaft. NOTE ON MEASURING::
Shaft length is threaded portion "B" (in picture), , not including hand stem "A".
"B" is the threaded portion that must pass thru your clock face, plus a couple of threads to attach retaining (hex) nut. .
HANDS: minute hand measured from end tip to center of mounting hole.
MEASURING DIAL FOR HAND SIZE: measure from top of #12 to bottom of #6, divide in half. This will give your approx. minute hand length. I will attach photos of assembly to your purchase email. You can also email me.
