Vintage Heathkit GC-1197 digital shelf clock in nice refurbished condition.
Rebuilt with Gen 3 bulb sockets for much better reliability and bulb contact. Uses GE56 or #56 T1.75 5 watt wedge bulbs, which can be found cheap online. Some of the bulbs in this clock are brighter than others, so if you are OCD and want all perfectly matched bulbs, you can buy the aforementioned bulbs in bulk and do some bulb swapping.
Power supply was rebuilt with a brand new Nichicon filter capacitor and two brand new 1N5408 rectifier diodes, as the originals were worn out from heat cycles. The new diodes are raised well above the circuit board for much better heat dissipation and should never burn up like the original diodes often do in these clocks, which is usually what kills them.
Cosmetically in good condition. Outer case has some nicks and scratches, front lens in good condition with minor signs of wear. Overall very clean and a nice survivor.
