Circa1929 GE Telechron Small (7-1/2” height) Gothic Cathedral Shelf Mantel Table Clock, Model 328, Running Well Complete General Electric Telechron “Red Dot” electric clock for mantel, table or shelf. Inlaid mahogany wood and/or mahogany veneer case, 3-1/2” gold-tone dial with convex glass in 4” diameter brass bezel, delicate hands including second hand. Displays well, runs well. Clock data plate details: Model AB328 S/N 248905B / VOLTS100/125 CYC 60 WATTS2 Rotor information: B2 1 RPM 60 C Watts 2 (1929 Date Code) Dimensions: approx. 7-1/2” high(top to bottom) by 5-5/8” wide (side to side) by 3” deep (base front to back) Weight: 1 lb. 15 oz. ( not packaged for shipping ) Condition: the clock is running smoothly with minimal gear train noise and keeping accurate time. Strong vintage look but not perfect. Gold-tone dial shows some wear and has a small shallow ding to the right of the“Telechron” logo. Convex glass is good, no visible chips around the edge. Brass bezel looks fine but has a little roughness in places around the edge. The wood case is solid mahogany and/or mahogany veneer (not sure) and in good condition with finish consistent with age. The finish has “alligatored” in a few places and is thin in a few places. The overall cosmetic condition is judged as good to very good for its age with vintage patina. Appears to be the original electrical cord, a little stiff but not cracked. Continued functional operation is not guaranteed or warranted.
