Tempus Fugit Vintage Cherry Wood Quartz Wall Clock w/ Weights, Pendulum & Hourly Chime ~ EUC Description : Quality brass hardware including a spring loaded double ball catch on the door. Although the chains, weights and pendulum are cosmetic, they are brass as well. The quartz movement requires a single AA battery and the electronic Winchester chime uses a larger "C" size, both of which are included. Interesting fact : Tempus Fugit is Latin for " Times Flies " and is embossed on the dials of many Grandfather Clocks. Tempus Fugit appearing on the dial is no indication of any brand, model, quality or value of the clock. Condition : Used, but not abused. The cabinet is immaculate with a nice finish, and the brass remains untarnished. I found NO chips, cracks, scratches, scuffs, stains, corrosion, dents, repairs, tarnish or any other cosmetic / structural issues. I have not confirmed the clock's accuracy over the long term, but t he quartz movement appears to work perfectly and can be fine tuned using the adjustment at the bottom of the pendulum. Measures : 13-3/8" max width x 32-3/4" high x 5-3/8" deep including rubber feet on back w/ a 6-1/2" diameter dial Weighs : 7 lbs 13 oz plus packaging Notes : Unless NIB, factory sealed or otherwise impractical, all items are washed and sanitized prior to photography. Moisture exposes crazing that otherwise may be invisible. All items are stored in a smoke and pet free environment.
