Cube Wall Clock in Walnut, Cherry and Bird's Eye Maple in a geometric shape.
This 14" tall classic geometric cube shape has been recreated in three of the most elegant domestic hardwoods. Each board for this piece was hand selected for its remarkable character and much sought after grain pattern. Crowning the top of the hour is Bird's Eye Maple with its distinctive and unique set of tracks. On the right hand side of the clock face, we have a highly figured walnut. These are complimented by a rich, colorful cherry. The clock is finished in a old world formula of hand rubbed oils custom blended in house at Wooden It Be Nice Designs to bring out the chatoyancy in these rare woods and allow you to see the true beauty and luster that can be found in each of them. After the piece was fully cured in these oils, it was waxed, buffed and polished.
In short, here we have taken a simple design and have gone to great lengths to allow this beautiful wood speak for itself.
