Chauncey Jerome & Co. Early American Cottage Table Mantel Shelf Clock

This is an early cottage clock made by Jerome & Co.. The clock is in nice cosmetic condition with the original painted dial and reverse painted tablet and bezel glass. The original label is present and well preserved as well as the original backboard paper. The pendulum bob is old and may also be original. The clock was allowed to run for about 24 hours and functioned properly. It was not tested for accuracy and is being sold for restoration. Expect to see scratches and typical finish blemishes. The clock is probably circa 1870. The hands appear to be correct and it’s an all around nice, early clock.
