Watchmaker's inspection notes:
Top of watch case is hand engraved and has dents, 2 large dents in the bottom of the case as well. Case is very scratched overall. Under side of crystal has shellac stuck to it from he broken minute hand that someone thought they could repair with shellac :-( Full 8 day PR not tested, but clock kept time for the day we watched it, debris on dial from shellac (may not clean off!!), alarm works but is very week. Send to Cartier for an estimate for service, new hands, clean crystal and dial... we can fill the engraving after without having to disassemble this. Dents on case will remain for sure!
