Bulova Accutron 214 Spaceview Jewelers Sales Display Clock Restored

Rare white detailed/Yellow Alpha Hand Set version of the Jewelers Display Clock.
Designed to show prospective buyers the new Electromagnetic Tuning Fork Technology.
These usually have a red Tuning Fork emblem and a red circle around the movement... along with red "stick" hands.
This is the only version that I've seen that has the white Tuning Fork emblem and circle, with yellow painted gold tone Alpha hand set.
Quite possibly the precursor to the "Yellow Dot" Spaceview "B" watch.
This display is one of the ideas that led to the Spaceview models.

Beautiful numbers matching vintage classic.
The only timepiece that MUST be in every Watch Lovers collection!
The Caliber 214 Tuning Fork movement.
Cleaned the display pieces (inside and out) and the hands.
Disassembled the movement, cleaned and oiled all of the friction points and regulated the timing
to run properly on the modern/readily available/inexpensive 1.55v 387S (or 394 if you have the plastic spacer/insulator) battery.
I installed a "rare" vintage green plastic battery insulator in it to add to the "authenticity."
Original and correct M1 (1961) USA made Accutron 214 movement.
Correct early version of the 3 wire Coil Assembly.
Correct "unstamped" Tuning Fork.
Correct factory painted (yellow) gold tone Alpha hand set (not repop hands).
You'll need some decent "motor skills" to remove the movement, change out the battery, and set the time on this beauty...
or find a good local watchmaker to do it for you.
This has been adjusted to run "Dead on balls accurate," as Marisa Tomei (My Cousin Vinny) would say...
within the original Bulova Spec's at the time of issue.
No need for any "tricks" or add ons that might upset the Coil Assembly.
Why "Fix it if it ain't broken?"
No need for changes to the Electronics.
Fully serviced mechanicals.
As it SHOULD be!
No need to alter and stress the electronics on this beauty... thereby devaluing it!
Why "coat" the Coils... adding stress and trapping the windings and limiting movement?
70% of the Coil issues are on the Battery side (due to owners using incorrect batteries back in the day)... NOT the Component side!
Stop wasting time over-bidding Frankensteined FAKES, from the U.K., when you can have the genuine article.
Why buy an over "engineered" parts bin mess from a part-time "hobbyist" who throws together a multitude of parts?
What value does that have now... much less in the future?! It'll be nothing more than what it is... an altered mess!
I use the Mobius products that were specified by Bulova and I install new gaskets.
I work on these the Old School way.
I am not a Part Time Hobbyist doing this after my day job...
and I see no reason to alter these... it only decreases their value.
The goal is to get these right...
so that we can enjoy and preserve these Historic works of Horology/Engineering/Art.
I send these out double boxed to protect them, with a multi page Instruction Set, an extra battery, insured, with Signature Confirmation Service...
and I hand deliver them to USPS for receipt in hand so that we are BOTH covered!
I do these RIGHT because I LOVE them.
If you want cheap, badly thrown together FAKE CRAP at a "low" price point... I'm NOT "your guy!"
There are plenty of people out there destroying classic Accutrons... would you accept this behavior for cigars, cars, watches, etc.?!
