Mahogany case with contrasting panels.
5-inch silver dial and the bezel is brass and it has a convex glass.
Quarter-hour self-adjusting strike movement No. 89.
Strikes each quarter-hour on two horizontal rods of different tone.
Double strikes on the quarter, single strike at the half hour, and 12 strikes chime on the hour.
This clock has three arbors one on the left, one on the right, and a third shaft in the center under the dial for adjusting the speed marked s f.
Has a paper label on the bottom that says No 2 Cymbal, 89K stamped on mechanism, Made in the USA.
Dial is marked Seth Thomas Made in the USA.
It measures: Base, 20-1/2" wide, 5-1/2" deep, and 9 1/2" tall.
Preowned, used, working condition. Clock was wound up and holds time and chimes on the quarter of every hour and hourly. Please see pictures there are some scratches and scuffs to it. There is some color lost to the wood in spots. I do not know the last time it was cleaned or oiled.
