Early Antique Wm. Gilbert 8 Day Time and Strike Mantel Clock Great Door Stencil Working We are offering for sale this very nice antique Wm. Gilbert mantel or shelf clock. This clock is 23 1/4" tall, 14 1/4" wide and 4 1/4" deep and dates from the early 1900's. This clock is beautifully ornate with applied wood carvings, ornate door frame and base. This is an 8-day time and strike clock; it runs very well and strikes with the number of hours on the hour and once at the bottom of the hour. The dial is in good condition and is marked "Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co." It features a very nice adjustable pendulum and a great door stencil in perfect condition. There is a partial label on the back. The movement is also marked the same as the dial. The key is included but is not original. It also has the alarm feature that has not been tested. You will not be disappointed in this fine clock. As with all antique clocks, there may be need for slight adjustment after shipping.
