Antique Victorian English Mahogany Mantle Bracket Clock , quarter chime Movement, comes with original key! This is a very special clock that has been well taken care of, and cherished!
Prominence - This was purchased from a multi million dollar estate in Dallas Texas. It comes with original ( included and shown in photos) paperwork from 1978 purchase from a shop in England and shipped to the US, and shipping value was 450 pounds which equals close to approximately $600 dollars, and in today’s dollars escalation would be approximately $2700, 44 years ago.
It notes
“Eight-day Bracket Clock, by Reynoldson & Son, Hall England (circa 1860) with steel dial and Westminster Chime, domed top and mahogany with pillars”! German internals (W & H SCH) marking behind the pendulum. Stands for Winterhalder and Hofmeier. Schwaerzenbach factory.
I do not know much about clock movement, I do not know if the movement is working properly or if it’s calibrated. This will need to be brought to a clock shop to be serviced.

Well known German clockmakers during the mid 1800s to mid 1900s.
There are a few scuffs and scratches, it is very good condition for its age. The very top tip of one of the finials is not there.
