Antique Theodore B. Starr NY European Gilt Dore Bronze & Onyx Desk Clock

Antique circa 1900 European desk clock, probably French, the clock dial says Theodore B. Starr, New York, the retailer, made of gilt dore bronze and celadon onyx with brown mottling and overall striations, featuring a pouting little Cupid figure with bound hands, his quiver and a pair of doves are the finial, with ornate dore bronze banding and paw footed base, measuring 9-1/2" high, the base 6-3/4" x 6-3/4" including the extended paw feet, condition:  as is, we don't know if the clock works, it appears to need a key to wind it at the back, the round onyx part with the clock movement wiggles a bit, needs to be tightened, sold as found, previously owned, from a local estate.
