Antique Steeple Mantel CLOCK 8-day Ansonia Conn Key included

I do not have  any history on this clock. It does run and has kept what appears to be perfect time over the last 24 hours. It chimes but not accurately most of the time. I am not a clock expert but what I can see of  the mechanism looks quite shiny so I am wondering if it has been recently cleaned or perhaps, replaced. One steeple point is shorter than the other. This was not an eye-catching difference for me. I only discovered it while actively looking for damage. Will be shipped with the pendulum removed and wrapped in paper with the key. Shipping charges include a handling fee to cover the cost of USPS Special Handling. I will be happy to remove that extra charge if you feel USPS Special Handling is not necessary and you contact me BEFORE YOU PAY. Also, the buyer understands and agrees that declining USPS Special Handling also means the buyer WILL BE RESPONSIBLE for any damages that occurs during shipping.
