Beautiful handcrafted mahogany Seth Thomas chime clock. No major damage cracks or broken pieces. Wear from use and age. Finish wear around the bottom carved part and bottom corners. There is a mark in the wood on the right side, shown in photos. The dial has some scratches and blemishes as well but is easy to read. The jewel glass is in good condition and the fits tight when closed. The rear access door holds closes tight as well. There is a rub mark on the knob/handle.
The clock includes the pendulum, key, and original paper label on the bottom of the clock. I love the steel S & T clock hands. They give the dial a high end look. 8 day movement, hourly strike correlating with the hour, bing bong on the 1/4" hour.
Right at the 100 year old mark In my opinion the clock is in really nice condition and works beautifully. Unfortunately shipping any clock can throw it off just a bit. At the moment it keeps time as it should but after shipping it may need some adjusting.
