Very early Seth Thomas 30 hour Spring clock. I am not sure of the exact date on it but it is one of the earliest I have seen of this type, so I believe pre 1850. Most all the parts appear to be hand cut.
The movement appears fine, escapement seems to work well, but the mainspring has detached. Most likely it was overwound. Not a hard repair to do but I just do not have the time right now with a lot of project clocks ahead of it.
The reverse painted robin with a worm is really cute and the hand painted old dial is nice as is the woodwork.
