This is an antique Sessions Westminster chiming clock Admiration model. This clock has been cleaned and oiled and has been running in my home for several months and keeps very good time. The clock chimes beautifully, accurately and reliably each quarter hour with the first 4 notes on the first quarter hour then 8 notes on the half hour etc. ending with a full Westminster 16 note chime on the hour followed by the correct hourly chime on a separate chime rod. The wood case is original and has been cleaned thoroughly and shows typical signs of wear for it age. The Brass bezel has been cleaned and polished. the glass is in very good condition and The silvered dial has been gently cleaned and is in very good condition. This is fine functional antique mantel clock, a mechanical marvel of its time that would look great on any mantel or any room in your home. The clock comes with a 2 sided key and needs to be wound weekly on both sides The Clock would be packed properly with great care to arrive safely via UPS I would also be available for setup and care instruction and any questions that you might have.
