Thomas Haller German RA pendulum regulator style, key wound, wall clock with key (I think it's an eight day).
Not too ornate or fussy, but beautiful.
I'm not sure what wood the case is made of.
Missing crest and bottom finials.
It's still in remarkably good condition, sturdy, and looks very well despite the wear and tear of time. There are some scrapes and scratches; the most obvious ones are on the bottom ledge, both corners.
Runs well and keeps time well. Does not chime or strike.
Maker's trademark and serial number is on back of the movement. I couldn't find any useful information out of the serial number, but the trademark is clearly identifiable as Thomas Haller (sometimes Thomas Haller AG). Date made is estimated by the fact that Thomas Haller made wall clocks between 1880-1900, after which he merged with Junghans and any clocks he made after the merge would have borne Junghan's mark as well.
Clock face may be a replacement as 24 hour regulator faces were not very common, according to one dealer I spoke to, but I have come across one other Haller regulator clock with the same face. I just don't have enough information to say for certain.
Clock movement probably needs serviced. We've never had it serviced and I don't know whether the previous owner did.
I hate to part with it, but we're having to downsize and I'd like to see it rehomed to someone who will enjoy it as it deserves.
