Antique LENZKIRCH German/Neo-Classical Ornate Mantle/Table Clock

Take this opportunity to own a RARE & handsomely made Lenzkirch Clock. Highest quality most desired “Lenzkirch 1 Million” solid brass plate quarter strike 7-daywind two train suspension spring signed movement in extremely clean &original condition; silvered & tooled faceplate contains stately Roman numerals with easy access speed control adjustment; chimes on 2 melodious coiled gongs; both movement & gong assemblies are mounted securely to case. Masterfully made high quality straight grain & burled walnut veneered case adorned with intricately cast brass decorative elements; original beveled front glass door with keyed access (locking key included); rear door has sliding latch onto a walnut door frame containing a decoratively pierced metal screen covered with original green colored fabric; both side panels contain openings covered with decorative pierced brass sound grilles with matching green fabric; both front & rear doors open & close easily; rear door has one small wood veneer scratch located at bottom left door corner which can be seen in the photo; all wood trim and decorative brass castings are fitted properly & securely fastened to case.  Chiming correctly & running on time. DIMENSIONS: height 14” x width 11 ¼” x depth 7” I am anantique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. I am NOT aretailer. This clockcomes from my collection & has been running successfully for several yearswith no difficulties. It has been testedprior to this offering. Clock set-up toestablish the correct “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation,accomplished through placement & leveling (sometimes with rotating themovement while in the clock case). Additionally, temperature & humidity may affect it over time aswell. Do not over wind the clock. Lastly, I cannot not guarantee the clock’soperation once shipped.
