Antique IMPRESSIVE French ART DECO High-Style Mantle/Table Clock

Take this opportunity to own a VERY RARE & handsomely made Art Deco mantle/table clock. High quality French  (stamped movement by clockmaker FC) solid brass plate 14-day wind two train suspension spring movement in restored condition; faceplate contains Deco stylized Arabic numerals hand painted & stenciled onto a marbleized celluloid clock face; also contained on the clock face is a small FAST/SLOW adjustment gear centered above the clock hands pivot point; the minute & hour hands are handsomely articulated in the Deco Style; chimes on melodious cast nickel bell ; both movement & bell assemblies are mounted securely to case. Masterfully made high quality Art Deco Style soft white richly veined marble case adorned with green marble inset surrounded by a highly decorative brass beaded frame; original incised oval front beveled glass panel sets inside a brass door frame hinged atone side (friction type latching device mounted to side opposite the hinge);the elongated octagonal clock case is supported by  2 substantial marble supports that are laminated in several decorative layers of alternating green and white marble; these 2 supports are then seated upon 4 cast brass thin tapered shoes; a very rare and desirable Art Deco designed mantle/table clock; all marble & brass trim is fitted properly & securely fastened to case. Chiming correctly & running on time. DIMENSIONS: height 9 ¾” x width 17” x depth 4 ¾” I am an antique clock collector wishing to reduce my clock collection. I am NOT a retailer. This clockcomes from my collection & has been running successfully for several yearswith no difficulties. It has been testedprior to this offering. Clock set-up toestablish the correct “beat” is paramount to the clock’s operation,accomplished through placement & leveling (sometimes with rotating themovement while in the clock case). Additionally, temperature & humidity may affect it over time aswell. Do not over wind a clock. Lastly, I cannot not guarantee the clock’soperation once shipped. Allshipments will be wrapped in bubble wrap (key & pendulum wrappedseparately) set tightly into box containing Styrofoam peanuts, tapped shut& then placed into second box filled with padding for added protection,taped shut on all sides.
