Awaiting your purchase is this beautiful Gothic Style mantle clock that was hand carried from Glasgow, Scotland to Texas many years ago. This clock is stylized like a building with a roof. Features brass embellishments. Clock is missing two of its little brass squares as seen in photos. The top part features brass railing and four corner posts, one of which is missing its wood square piece. The finial at the top features three brass fleur de lis. There does seem to be some separation but does not affect the structure. It is still tight. As seen in photos. The glass door is beveled glass and has its latch. The clock does have a key. The clock works fine. I have had it sitting for days and it has kept ticking and chiming. The chime is a nice deep soothing gong. Everything seems to work good on it. The backdoor has some splits in the wood. I could not find a maker except for the mark that is pictured. This came from an old antique shop and had been there for many years. Before that it came out of a home outside of Glasgow. Measures: 18" tall, 7" deep, 10.5" wide.
