Verge and Foliot escapement with double fusee movement Chain driven around spring barrel for both time and strike.
Mother of Pearl inlay throughout the front perimeter of the clock.
Beautiful cherry wood case with fine workmanship and elaborate carved case and stand. Small drawer in back that holds key for winding. Clock is in fantastic working condition, however, interior brass movement could stand a complete cleaning.
