Antique French Slate Case Mantle Clock Urn Top Paw Feet Fancy Japy Marti

Up for sale is this antique French slate Mantle Clock. Not working and sold for parts or repair. I have not tested for function beyond testing the winding springs which were good. Movement is marked Societe Clusienne SCAPH . Measures about 16” x 9 1/2”. One of the rear feet is bent, and as it is now the front right foot is up off the table, some balancing will need to be done. Some of the applied pieces (Feet, urn, side decorations) are a bit loose, trying to take these off or tighten them up sometimes is like opening Pandora’s box, so I will leave that up to you. Case has a couple of chips on the back edge, some teeny tiny flea bites here and there but is in good overall condition. Please view all 12 photos to help judge condition.
