Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Working 19th C. Large Ebonized French Victorian Empire Portico Column Clock Mantel Shelf Clock, Made in France, circa 1880. This Has a Footed Ebonized Wood Case with Gilt Brass Trim and Applied Decorations, With Ornate Open Face Cast Brass Dial with Roman Numerals. This has a Round French Brass Mechanical 8 Day Wind-Up "Time & Strike" Mechanical Movement with Nickel Bell Chime that Strikes Correctly. This is a 'Key Wind' Clock and Includes a Winding Key, and The Correct French Ornate Cast Brass Lyre Pendulum with Fancy Brass Bob. It is Large and Measures approx. 20 1/4" Tall x 10 1/2" Wide x 6 1/4" Deep. The Clock is in Good Working Condition and Winds and Sets Correctly, But Has Not Been Serviced, Sold As Found!
