This listing is for a gorgeous antique French mantel clock This masterpiece dates to the mid 1800s The clock features a statue of a young woman with a lyre. The base is made from alabaster stone. It is adorned with gilt metal detailing. There are 2 lower panels with hand painted scenes. The clock measures 14 x 5 x 9.75 inches. The clock appears to be in overall good condition. Colors are still vibrant Some signs of normal wear and age present. 1 back foot has gone missing and was replaced with cork. It is not noticeable as it is on the back Movement was last serviced in 2019. Springs are good and the verge has been ticking back and forth since we wound it. We cannot test it properly however as the pendulum is missing. Please note that any mechanical clock that is shipped might require adjustments upon arrival. Thus time accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
