This antique French clock from the late 19th century makes a great addition to any collection. Made of wood, this Comtoise/Morbier clock features a picture frame design and is in good working condition. The clock chimes with a repeat, and has an 8-day power source.
With origins in Eastern France, this clock has a unique style that is both decorative and functional. It is a perfect example of a mechanical clock, powered by springs, that was manufactured in the years 1890-1910.
This antique clock strikes the hour, and then repeats it a couple of minutes later. This also
Strikes the half-hour.
The painted wood case shows the usual signs of wear and fading.
This also has a painted tin dial, which is signed " Courtial, St. Etienne"..
