Antique F.M.S. Wall Clock German MAUTHE Unique Pendulum Walnut Case

Offered is a lovely antique German Mauthe wall clock in an ornate walnut case with some exciting and rare features!  First, the highly ornate and decorated pendulum is encased in its own glass enclosure and the left side of the case is hinged so the movement can be seen and accessed from the side!  This elegant clock is beautiful survivor of the last 125+ years and is still going strong.  This clock appears to run properly, chimes once on the half hour and the appropriate number of times on the hour.  (See video)  As with any old clock, it could certainly benefit from a servicing but it seemed to run strongly when we tested it.  The movement is clearly marked F.M.S. with their signature eagle insignia and numbered 87244.  This clock has a couple chips to the wooden case and there are cracks to the surface of the face under the Roman numerals but nothing that detracts significantly from the beauty of this clock.  Please don't miss you chance to bid at this lovely, one of a kind clock!
