ANTIQUE EMPIRE OGEE FRAMED SETH THOMAS MANTLE CLOCK CIRCA 1830'S-40'S This very beautiful antique Empire ogee framed mantle clock is by the Seth Thomas Clock Co. from Thomason, Conn.. It has a mahogany veneered ogee frame, original dial, reversed hand painted lower panel and the original paper label on the inside of the clock. It chimes on the hour and half hour, runs right now very well, keeps accurate time and is in very good condition with only some very minor age marks which are hardly noticeable, the reversed painted panel has one paint chip and a cut out window at the bottom of the panel. It appears that the works have been replaced some time back. It is 25 inches tall, 16 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches deep. This clock has a lovely chime tone and a great look.
