Antique Art Nouveau Silverplate & Marble Fairy Girl French Mantle

Antique Art Nouveau Silverplate & Marble Fairy Girl French Mantle Clock. I am not a clock expert, but what I can tell you, is that this piece is absolutely gorgeous! Made some time between 1880 and the 1890s, the case of the clock, the sculpture of the Fairy, and the solid black marble base is in excellent condition! The clock however is not currently running. The previous owner, unfortunately replaced the original mechanical components with battery operated components, and I do not believe he knew what he was doing. With that said, everything else on on this clock is original, and absolutely stunning, and still makes a very nice decorative piece. Dimensions are  approximately 7 × 3.75 × 7 inches.
