Antique Ansonia Rosalind Black Enamel on Iron Case Mantel Clock - USA New York. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
I purchased this clock at an auction over 20 years ago. The gold paint needs touched up and the cherubs are just plain iron at this point. The face is porcelain or french ivory/bakelite and is in excellent condition. I took this clock to a clock repairman within the last year when i considered selling and he said it is in remarkably good condition and it runs; HOWEVER****PLEASE READ**** It runs for about 3 days and stops. He said that all it needed was to have a good cleaning (of the bushings) I know nothing about old clocks (i dont even know what bushings are) but I do know quality when i see it. This has been my favorite clock for the last twenty years but we are downsizing and i have made the very difficult decision to let it go to another who can give it the cleaning and care it deserves.
