Click images to enlarge Description Maker: Ansonia Clock Company c.1904 Model: Savoy Condition: This clock comes to you as shown. Because of Pricetronic policy, this clock will be sold as a non-running clock for restoration. If you do not know how to set a beat or regulate the time, which is required on ALL mechancial clocks especially after shipping or moving from one place to the other, I suggest you watch a YouTube video on how to set the beat on a mechanical clock movement prior to purchasing it. If you do know how to perform these basic adjustments, you will be please with the clock's performance. The movement is signed Ansonia and it is an 8 day time and strike model that strikes once on the half hour and counts the number of hours on the hour. The gong strike is a little flat and might be improved a little if you adjust the hammer to your liking. It has been running without any issues and keeping decent time however, again, it will need to be regulated and beat set upon delivery. The black enamel painted finish looks like it has been redone or touched up long ago as you can see imperfections throughout the glossy black finish. The gold colored decorations were done in a darkened gold color to try and capture the Verde bronze finish like it original came with. The dial and bezel with beveled mineral glass crystal look all original and were not messed with. The back door is missing and did not come with the clock when I acquired it. Lastly, the bottom board which appears to be original, is cracked however, the screws do a good job of keeping it in place. The gong may be removed to prevent further damage upon shipping. Overall, it is a decent little clock that would look nice on any shelf. It comes with the key and pendulum as shown. Ebay policy is too one sided and hurts both buyer and seller when we are 2 honest individuals trying to help each other out. If there is an error in the listing, I stand behind it.
