Fresh from our local Westchester New York estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this Rare E arly 20th century American Carved Mahogany GRANDFATHER CLOCK. Gorgeous example, this tubular clock was made in United States of America, in Cincinnati Ohio (please see the plaque on inside of the door) . The body is very sharp and muscular, carved Mahogany with dark finish on wood. It features large silver color face, with gilt (gold color) Arabic numerals, and black hands in the the center. Below the face is a window showing the pendulum and 3 weights, while behind them is a set of 5 silver color chime tubes. Present is the original crank / winding key, and another key. Condition is good overall, shows expected age / use wear, tubes needs new strings to hang, and naturally fine tuning is in order (please see photos). Size is large 83.5" tall, 24.5" wide, 14.5" deep from the wall, and the face is 12" diameter across. Great addition to any collection !
