Fresh from our local Rye, New York estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this E arly 20th century American Carved Walnut Ansonia Regulator "CAPITOL" CLOCK. Gorgeous example, made in United States of America, by Ansonia Clock Company, in Ansonia, Connecticut (please see the writing on bottom of the face) . The body is made of finely carved Mahogany with dark finish on wood. Top and bottom have matching finials, while the top center features a spectacular quality French Empire style gilt bronze mount of woman / lady face. It features large white color face, with black color Roman numerals, and black hands in the the center. Below the face is a window showing the pendulum. Present is the original winding key. Condition is good overall, shows light age / use wear, and fine tuning is in order (please see photos). Size is large 54" tall, 14.75" wide, 7" deep from the wall, and the face is " diameter across. Great addition to any collection !
