Antique 200 year old Moon phase clock.
I bought this clock in a hurry on EBay about 2 - 3 years ago. I only opened the clock part. ( weights & pendulum are still in boxes ). It’s over my head, not at all like my more modern Morbier clock. The chain works differently and I’m not experienced enough to own and care for it properly. Regrettably I need to find it a new owner…
1773-1835 signed John Barraclough ~ clockmaker from Haworth England.
Clock has all its parts including weights, original pendulum and bell. It needs work, the hands are loose, second hand is detached and easy to put back on. It runs and stops so a thorough cleaning at least, is necessary. Someone who is an experienced clock collector is the ideal buyer.
The clock is cased in a homemade wall hanger, sans it’s original grandfather case it would have had in 1800.
Please ask all/any questions as I would appreciate no returns. It will be shipped exactly how it was shipped to me when I bought it, in 3 packages.
Shipping will be done in 3 separate boxes, clock, pendulum, weights. Could cost more than my shipping quote, I will pay any difference.
