Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Working 1925 PENNSYLVANIA FIRE INSURANCE COMPANY Mechanical Wind-Up Novelty Advertising Mantel Shelf Desk Clock, Made By The New Haven Clock Company USA. This was a Promotional Item Given Away to People Who Used "Pennsylvania Fire Insurance Company". The Dial is the Original Paper Over Tin Dial, Signed "The New Haven Clock Company USA". The Case is a Bronze Plated Cast Metal Case with Embossed Lettering and Designs in High Relief. The Clock Case Reads "The Pennsylvania Fire Insurance Company 1825 - 1925". This is a Mechanical Wind-up Clock, with New Haven Clock Movement, that Winds and Sets From the Rear. I Wound the Clock Up and it is in Working Condition and Winds and Sets Correctly, But Has Not Been Serviced, Sold As Found. It Measures approx. 6 3/4" Tall x 5" Wide x 2 1/2" Deep.
