Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique 1920's GILBERT Art Deco Tambour Mantel Shelf Clock, Made by the Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Company Winsted Conn USA. This has a Gilbert Brass Mechanical Wind-Up 8 Day Time & Strike Key Wind Movement with Dual Rod Bim-Bam Chime, which Strikes Correctly.  The Movement is signed "G  24 made by Wm L Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted Conn USA". The Case is a Deco Style Mahogany Wood Tambour Humpback Case with Normal Wear From Age. The Dial is a Silver Metal Deco Dial, Signed, "Gilbert, Made By The William L. Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted Conn. USA".  The Clock Measures approx. 20 1/2" Wide x 10" Tall x 5 1/4" Deep. It includes a Pendulum and Winding Key. The Clock Runs Briefly and Stops, and Will Need Attention to Work Correctly, Sold As Found. This is Being Sold for Parts, Restoration, or Repair with Great Potential.
