Click images to enlarge Description Maker: Ansonia Clock Company c.1904 Model: Vienna Model Condition: This is an Ansonia Vienna model enameled cast iron mantel clock that comes to you as shown. It is being sold as a restoration project or parts. The movement is an 8 day time and strike that is running and will strike on the half hour one time, and count the hours on the hour. It has been ultrasonically cleaned, oiled and adjusted but due to the basica adjustments needed after shipping, it is being sold as a non-running clock. If you know how to set a beat and regulate the time, you will be happy with its performance. If not, I suggest you watch a YouTube video or 2 on setting the beat and regulating the time on a mechanical clock movement before placing a bid. The brass bezel is missing the locking tab and will not "latch" closed, but it will stay shut. The finish looks original but as you can see in the pics, it has seen better days and would benefit from a proper cleaning and possibly even a new black painted finish. Ebay policy is too one sided and hurts both buyer and seller when we are 2 honest individuals trying to help each other out. If there is an error in the listing, I stand behind it.
