Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique '19th Century' GILBERT Victorian Porcelain Ceramic Mantel Shelf Clock with Beautiful Fancy Dial, made by the Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Company Winsted Conn. USA, circa 1896. It has a Beautiful Footed White & Pink Porcelain Ceramic Case with Gilt Accents and Colorful Painted Floral Flowers. This Has a Beautiful Porcelain Dial with Arabic Style Numerals with Painted Floral Flowers and Ornate Brass Bezel with Heavy Beveled Glass. This Clock has a Gilbert Silver Metal Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement, which is signed "Pat April 28 96 Made by Wm. L Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted Conn USA", with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime . The Clock Measures approx. 11 1/2" Tall x 9 1/2" Wide x 5" Deep.
