Click images to enlarge Description ANTIQUE & Vintage Ansonia Mantle or Shelf Clock is very UNIQUE and in Working condition.  The striker strikes (gongs) once for the 1/2 hour and strikes the number for the hour i.e. 5 times!   It measures approx. 9.5" tall x 9" wide x 5.5" deep. Heavy clock weighing 10.5 pounds without the shipping box. It is a design of a Bonn porcelain clock only it is iron.  It is factory painted in a caramel marble look. There is a little missing paint.. Please see the 10 photos which are part of the description.  The gilt embelishments are darkened a bit. The Gold trim on the white dial is very ornate. Numbers are easy to see and the glass door is in nice condition. The movement is key wound (key included). I wound it and so far it has run for 5 hrs. I will try to update the listing when it stops. Please note:  You must have the clock completely level for it to keep running. (Use a penny or dime underneath to level). I used a dime under the 2 left legs and was fine. Engraved inside "ANSONIA CLOCK CO. NEW YORK PATENTED JUNE 18, 1882" And on the right side "41". As with any old clock it may need professional cleaning. A great collectible clock!
