Collectibles / Decorative Collectibles / Clocks / Desk, Mantel & Shelf Clocks
See Photos. Comes from an immaculately clean nonsmoking home. In good condition. Wood shows obvious age with wood veneer issues along the bottom. Comes with key and pendulum, presumed to be original. Springs wind and keep load. Clock runs with manual stimulation as we cannot sort out how to attach the pendulum without taking the back off. We cannot speak to accuracy. No doubt it needs proper lubrication and servicing. The paper label on the inside that says Eight Day and One Day Brass Clocks Patented March 17, 1868, Manufactured and Sold by Welch, Spring & Co. Forestville, Conn. U.S.A.. Label on the back of the calendar states this is a B.B. Lewis Perpetual Calendar. Moving the calendar mechanism by hand works just fine. Likewise, manual stimulation shows that the chime works well. Top hinge is loose and thank goodness for the locking mechanism holds it firmly in place. We denote a few missing screws. Approx 20" x 12" x 5.5" deep @ 7.5 pounds. Seller Lot #23059-CART. Listed shipping costs are for the lower 48 (USA) states.
