Item: Antique 1820's Eli Terry 17 1/2" X 34" Tall Wooden Clock Measurements approximately: 17 1/2" wide X 34" tall X 4 1/2" deep Condition: The clock is in good condition for its age. The pendulum, bell and 2 weights are included. Untested mechanism. Nicely carved wooden feet are in good condition (see 3rd photo). Original gold toned hand painted details on the black Empire columns are faded (see 4th photo). The original mirror silver is faded. The door opens & closes well. The mirror backing inside has faint writing "Hudson" (see 8th photo). The lock works, but there is a missing hardware piece that surrounds the lock opening (see 9th photo). Clock can hang on the wall (newer hangers & wire added at some time) or sit on its own (4 feet appear to sit level and evenly). It appears to have had some paint touch-ups to the face of the clock over the years. Minute & hour hands move freely. Weight drive pullies are in good shape. There is a missing weight hook.
