Antique 1583 gothic chamber clock w/ alarm industrial steampunk mechanical rare -This item has had an independent "desktop appraisal" by a personal property appraiser, educated through the International Society of Appraisers with a Bachelors in Fine Art and has worked in the antique and art business for the last 15 years and that person deems it to be an authentic piece of late 16th century.  Even after stating that, please do your own research as well. Please run it past your own people because due to the price of this item it is being sold as is no returns. Please be sure before purchasing. I am just a small independent ebayer and do not have access to large amounts of money to return this after it has been shipped. The clock has been tested and worked / moved. We used a set of 4 lb clock weights to test it and it moved the mechanics as it should. I am unsure if the 4lb weights was the accurate poundage to use to keep proper time while using these specific weights. I don't believe the counterweights that are currently on the clock are original or I'm not sure if they are even the right weight for the counterweights. This clock is an absolutely cool and an excellent piece of mechanical history clocks. Please ask any questions or feel free to ask for more pictures if needed.
