No doubt the most amazing CUCKOO Clock I have ever seen, the carving is done beautifully and there is a lot going on. Has two doors and three weights. Door on the left chimes once every fifteen minutes the first with one Cuckoo and at the thirty two cuckoos etc. and the door on the right is for the hourly cookoo. It is an amazing clock in amazing condition. Made by American Clock company in Philadelpia circa 1910. I have it listed in the Black Forest category of clocks but please be aware it is an american clock.
Condition: Works and displays beautifully after 4 or 5 days (it lost or gained I forget) a little over 15 min and I never tried to adjust the pendulam. The only thing I saw was the antler had been broken and cleanly glued together. some of the roman numerals are a shade lighter and look like they could of been cleaned, also I think the hands have been replaced as what I believe are the original hands are included and photographed. It is amazing it has retained such beauty over the years and all the carved parts have remained together.
The facade came unconnected to the clock base and I never knew how to attach it while the top piece has a secure way to hang.
Measurements: I forgot to measure when it was on the wall but putting it together it measured approximate 28" including antlers. The clock without the decorations measures 14 x 9 1/4 Condition: Works and displays beautifully after 4 or 5 days (it lost or gained I forget) a little over 15 min and I never tried to adjust the pendulam.
