A fine example of a carved walnut & mahogany diminutive grandmother tall clock with a swan’s neck split pediment with inlaid full fan rosettes and a center urn finial surmounting a arch form glass door, opening to a brass arched Roman numeral dial face and cast spandrels with cherub heads, silver plated chapter ring and conforming dial arch with the clockmaker’s name “John Thompson, London,” flanked by reeded corner column supports, over an inlaid arched waistdoor, opening to a brass pendulum, over a base with quarterfan and line inlay, supported by four bracket feet. Dates to the 20th century, in very good working condition, the brass works recently serviced and ready for your home, with minor imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use.
