Rare 19th Century American Clock Company Toleware / Iron Case Clock in fine working order. The outer case is made of a medium thin piece of iron, extremely stable and solid. Welch movement. The clock runs well and chimes counting the full hour. The movement has been cleaned and properly lubricated. The iron case is in exceptional condition with little to no wear but is missing the small door for the pendulum area. No rusting or wear to the paint. No nicks, dings or bends. Tiny loss on one spot of the peak. The beat has been adjusted to run properly on a level surface. Keeps excellent time. Comes with a pendulum and winding key as shown. Measures 20" tall, 18" wide.
