Collectibles / Decorative Collectibles / Clocks / Desk, Mantel & Shelf Clocks
This listing is for a vintage clock recently purchased from a local estate. It was given to the previous owner by the Lenox Company as a gift for 30 years of service working as a Department Manager for the company. The clock was made for Seth Thomas by Talley Industries. It is a Carriage clock in a walnut wood case with silver face. The face of the clock is embellished with gold metal brackets in the corners with winged angels or cherubs and ornate black metal hands. It is an 8 day clock with Westminster chimes that ring on the quarter hours and hour. There is a door in the back for accessing the mechanicals and a glass door in the front for winding and setting the time. There is a Lenox company emblem mounted onto the front of the clock. It measures 11 x 7.5 x 14" and comes with the original clock key, start up instructions, customer registration, warranty, installation instructions and envelope for the Lenox emblem with company information. Condition: There is some tarnish on the handle on the top. The chimes work perfectly but I cannot get the clock to start. It's very clean and probably needs just minor adjustment to fix.
