Collectibles / Decorative Collectibles / Clocks / Desk, Mantel & Shelf Clocks
This is a very unique piece. It's a Seth Thomas SS7-0 Poise electric mantle clock, and it was given to Guy J Cavasina in February 1958 as a commemorative gift for his work with the Pennsylvania Transformer Division. It is gilded & embossed on the top of the clock (see pictures). The condition of the clock is quite nice, but there is some wear to the leather, and the inside of the glass bezel could stand to be cleaned. The clock keeps time, but the motor/mechanism is fairly noisy. I can only hazard a guess at the last time it was oiled or maintained in any way. It's a beautiful little piece, still. I was not able to get the alarm to function. However, that could just be user error. Assume it is not working, to be safe. The clock measures 5 1/4" x 5" x 2 1/4" at its greatest dimensions and the clock face is 3 3/4" across. Check out the pictures for a full idea of condition and ask questions if you have any!
